Mombasa County Hockey Association (MCHA), in partnership with the Kenya Hockey Union (KHU), is proud to host this years first KHU Masters Hockey Tournament – 2025 on June 14–15, 2025, at the prestigious Mombasa Sports Club.
This highly anticipated event brings together seasoned Masters Hockey Players from across the country in a spirited display of sportsmanship, skill, and camaraderie. The tournament is open to ALL FANS and of course the players:
- Men aged 40 and above (born on or before June 13, 1985)
- Ladies aged 35 and above (born on or before June 13, 1990)
As highlighted by Mr Nobert Sije (MCHA Match and Fixtures Secretary) in an invitation letter to Masters teams, the event will follow a Pool format for 11-a-side teams and is recognized as a WMH Level 4 & 5 competition. Teams are expected to adhere to the FIH Rules of Hockey alongside WMH guidelines and the tournament-specific regulations.

- A vibrant two-day hockey experience featuring top-tier masters-level action.
- Family fun-day for the older and younger generation of hockey players and showcasing their class
- An inclusive competition format with clear eligibility, ensuring competitive fairness.
- A closing ceremony on Sunday, June 15 from 2PM, complete with awards, medals, and Series Points, which contribute to overall seasonal rankings.
