Mombasa County Hockey Association is about to host the 1st Ever Official Beach Hockey Tournament in Kenya on the 23rd July 23.
“The date has a nice ring to it. Hopefully, we will have 23 teams also contesting this. We look forward to a positive turn out, fun and support from our stakeholders.”

The tournament is envisioned to be a start in beach hockey games as MCHA launches this chapter at the Nyali Barracks Beach, Off Mount Kenya Road in Mombasa’s Nyali area.
Hockey missed out on being part of the National Beach Hockey Games and the African beach Hockey games that were recently held in Tunisia.
However, we are looking forward to be a part of the team in the next round of National and International Beach disciplines. Internationally, the World Beach Hockey Federation is at its inception stage and we believe Africa and Kenya will have representation at the right time.
